Simple past:

With regular verbs, add -ed to the base verb to talk about a finished past action.

“I stayed in a village in Peru”

With irregular verbs, change the base verb to its simple past form.

“I went back again”

Write 10 sentences in your notebook in simple past form with the next regular and irregular verbs:

Possession; countable and uncountable nouns:

Talk about things that you can count using many.

How many keys do you carry?

Not many. Just two

Talk about things that you can´t count using much.

How much food do you carry?

Not much. I usually carry some food.

Talk about things that you can and can´t count using some.

I always have some tissues.

I always carry some money.

Comparative and superlative adjectives:

Use comparative forms to compare things.

I prefer driving because it is faster than walking.

Use superlative forms to compare three or more things.

The biggest room in the world is in Tesla.

Exercises:

Write 5 sentences in superlative and 5 in comparative forms.

 

 

 

Going to:

Use to be + going to + base verb to talk about future plans and intentions.

I´m going to dance Macarena.

 Use be + not +going to +base verb to talk about plans to not do something in the future.

I´m not going to dance Macarena.

Exercises:

Write 5 sentences using going to and 5 sentences using not going to.

Example:

 I´m going to play videogames.
